Filipe holds a Law degree from the Lusíada University of Lisbon and a postgraduate qualification in Litigation Practice and Corporate Legal Advisory from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (Lisbon). He has been a lawyer since 2004.
He began his career in 2002 at the law firm P.M.B.G.R. – Trocado, Nobre Guedes, Perry da Câmara, Durães Rocha & Associados, where he remained until 2004. He subsequently worked at José António Silva e Sousa & Associados (2004–2006) and later at A.R. Montalvo & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados (2007–2015). Between 2015 and 2017, he served as a Lawyer and Senior Coordinating Associate in the Business Department of RFF & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados. In recent years, he has practiced independently.
Throughout his professional career, he has gained experience in corporate and business law, as well as real estate law, particularly in matters related to real estate investment vehicles. In parallel, he has developed solid expertise in civil litigation, along with experience in several complementary areas, including private client matters (family, succession, nationality, and residency), labor law, and industrial property.
He was awarded Business Lawyer of the Year by the ACQ Global Awards 2015/2016 and by the Finance Monthly Tax Awards 2015.
